These are the rules for using this site. The short version: we tell you what published studies found, and what you do next is on you.
What this site is
What The Study Says publishes plain-language summaries of published research. Every number we give you has a link to the study it came from. The links are there to be clicked.
This is not medical advice
Nothing on this site is medical advice. We are not your doctor, and reading this does not make us your doctor. Nothing here is meant to find, treat, cure or stop any illness.
Reading this site does not create a doctor-patient relationship, or any other professional or advisory relationship, between you and us. Talk to a qualified doctor before you act on anything you read here.
These are not approved medicines
The compounds we write about, retatrutide included, are not approved by the FDA for use in people. They are sold for laboratory research only. They are not for human or veterinary use.
We do not tell anyone how to use them, how much to take, or when. Where a dose appears in a guide, we are reporting the dose a named study gave the people enrolled in it. That is a fact about the study. It is not an instruction to you.
We do not promise the site is right
We work hard to get every number right, and we show you where each one came from. We still do not promise this site is accurate, complete or up to date. Studies get corrected. New ones come out. The site is published as it is, with no warranty of any kind.
Links to other sites
We link to journals, trial registries, government pages and our own store. We do not control any site we link to and we are not responsible for what is on it. A link is not an endorsement.
Who publishes this, and what we sell
Ascend Vials publishes this site. Ascend Vials sells research compounds, including some of the compounds written about here. So we have something to gain if you buy from us.
We say that up front because it is the only honest way to publish a page like this. It is also why every claim here carries a link to its source. Check them.
What you do is on you
You decide what to do with what you read here. That decision, and anything that follows from it, is yours. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm that comes from using this site or acting on anything in it.

Read the guides. Share the link. Quote a line and link back. Please do not copy a whole guide and publish it as your own, and please do not hit the site with automated traffic.
